The next special issue for Contact Lens and Anterior Eye will be published in January 2022 and will have the theme “Long-term Effects of Contact Lens Wear”. It is an opportunity to gather the latest information and evidence on the physiological and anatomical impact of contact lens wear over long-term use of many years.
Clinicians are invited to consider reviewing the data from their practices; researchers and academics to review the extensive datasets they have on file from the wide range of clinical trials; and research that is part of contact lens development and improvement.
Articles could be in the form of a literature review, full length original article, case report, short communication, or technical note to the editor.
Please make your submission for this forthcoming issue of CLAE. Contributions should be submitted by 31 July 2021 and will be assigned to one of the guest editors for double blind peer-review.
Please note in your covering letter that your manuscript is to be considered in this special issue.
The guest editors look forward to reviewing all that is sent and the impact such a special issue will have on the continued rise of this journal. It is anticipated that such a special issue will make a significant contribution to the education of students and future eye care practitioners.
