      The first edition of ‘Clinical Procedures in Primary Eye Care’ was released in 1998 and contained 6 chapters. It was very reader-friendly despite having no photos and only a few diagrams. This Fifth Edition has many, many ‘upgrades’ from that first edition as well as the subsequent editions with an emphasis on practicing evidence-based optometry as well as reflecting the increasing use of technology in current optometric practice.
