British Contact Lens Association

The British Contact Lens Association is the largest organisation of its kind in the United Kingdom, representing multi-disciplinary interests throughout the contact lens industry and professions. The goal of the association is to promote excellence in contact lens research, manufacturing and clinical practice.

Editor-in-Chief

Shehzad Naroo

Shehzad Naroo BSc(Hons), MSc, PhD, MCOptom, FIACLE, FAAO, FBCLA is the Editor-in-Chief of the journal Contact Lens and Anterior Eye. His research includes refractive surgery, corneal topography, sports vision, intraocular lenses and the expanding role of the optometrist. He is a senior lecturer at Aston University, an examiner for the College of Optometrists, and President of the International Association of Contact Lens Educators. He has a keen interest in promoting primary eye care in developing countries.
