The authors regret that in their recent publication, it was stated that the Bausch & Lomb product ReNu Multi Purpose has three distinct labels for use in Europe for contact lens care regimens comprising: rub & rinse, no rub but rinse, and no rub & no rinse. These regimens were then evaluated and reported.
Although three different instructions for use of the product were obtained from the marketplace, all involved variations of a rub & rinse regimen. Whilst the findings and conclusions of the study are not affected, the authors regret that the article suggested alternative regimens were associated with the product.
